Video: Duchess of Cambridge shows off baby bump in stunning white dress
After the fun of bandy hockey and the glamour of a black tie dinner with Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander, it was back to the causes closest to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's hearts on Wednesday.
On the second day of their high-profile visit to Sweden, William and Kate, who is six months pregnant with the couple's third child, were given a riotous reception at a local school where they will hear about mental health programmes aimed at young children.
Earlier, accompanied by their hosts, Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Crown Prince Daniel, the couple visited the world-renowned Karolinska Institutet, a medical university in Solna, Stockholm where they met with academics and professionals to discuss the country’s approach to tackling mental health challenges. The Duchess displayed her burgeoning bump in a red houndstooth coat by Catherine Walker, worn over a cream Alexander McQueen bouclé dress and paired with oversized pearl earrings by Swedish jeweller In2Design, no doubt in a nod to her hosts.
She teamed her outfit with a quilted maroon Chanel bag and fringed leather pumps from Italian label Tod's, while her host, Victoria, opted for a stylish pastel trouser suit worn over a piecrust collar and a Stella McCartney clutch.
